Jon is from Langley. He set a school record for stolen bases, 24, in his Senior year. He batted .333, and led the team with seven home runs. He also led the team with three triples. His fielding percentage is .974.

Jon hit .336 with 2 home runs and 29 RBI in 2008. In the outfield, he had only one error on the season, and a fielding percentage of .989.

Jon hit .290 with four home runs in 2007. He hit for the cycle against College of Idaho on March 31, and tied an NAIA record by hitting three triples against Corban on April 14. He set a school record with seven triples on the season. He lead the team with 28 RBI.

In 2006, he hit .251 with a home run and 11 RBI in 51 at-bats.

He played for Canada at the World University Games in Brno during the summer of 2008.
