Offensive highlights:

Freshman C Steve Bone, in his first start as a Thunderbird, went 3-5 with 4 runs scored, 1 RBI and 2 doubles.

SS Sammie Starr came into the game in the 7th inning, went 2-2, 3 RBI, and a 2 run home run.

RF Mike Styrna was 4-5, 2 doubles, 2 RBI, and 2 stolen bases.

CF Jon Syrnyk was 2-5, 2 RBI, and a stolen base.

2B Alex White was 2-5.

1B Scott Webster was 1-6 with a double and 3 RBI.

On the mound:

Jeff Hall, in his first UBC start, got the win. He went five innings, gave un four 4 hits, 3 earned runs.

Kurtis Schumacher threw two innings of scoreless relief.

Greg Chong and Eric Brown each threw an inning of scoreless relief.
