Mark Hardy got the start and the loss. He went six innings, allowed three earned runs, struck out seven. Ashton Florko, a transfer from Lewis-Clark State and a native of Trail, made his first appearance as a Thunderbird, and got tagged for two earned runs. He walked two, and struck out one. Although he hit a bunch of backstops, the good news is that he hit 92 mph on the radar gun. Andrew LaFleur pitched a scoreless inning in relief.

Graham Miller got the win for the Mustangs. They sent in three relievers for the last three innings, and they held the Thunderbirds hitless. Tyler Diamond was 2-4 with two RBI for the Mustangs.
