Here's a heads-up on what I've learned so far.
There will be a California tour in February, but there will be a significant difference. A new NCAA rule will be in effect that prevents Division I teams from playing any games (including exhibition games against Canadian teams) prior to the end of February; in the case of 2008, Feb. 22.
So, the opponents on the California tour will be NAIA and Division III teams. The tour starts and ends at Fresno Pacific (NAIA), on Feb. 14 and 20. In between, There's NAIA The Master's and Point Loma Nazarene, and Division III Occidental, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and Redlands.
After the second Fresno Pacific game, the bus will head to Lewiston, ID, for a tournament hosted by Lewis-Clark State. Don't know who the other teams in the tournament are, but a good guess would be some combination of Northwest Nazarene, Central Washington, or Western Oregon.
