First game: Tavis Bruce started, went seven innings, allowed two runs on seven hits, got the win. 3B Andrew Firth batted in two runs with a sacrifice fly and a single. DH Sebastian Wong went 3-for-4, scored a run. Conor Lillis-White pitched two hitless innings, got the save.
Second game: David Otterman and Matt Trimble came up one out short of a no-hitter. Otterman started, went 6 2/3 innings, didn't allow a hit, struck out 11, but walked six. Trimble went the rest of the way, allowed Corban's only hit with two out in the bottom of the ninth, struck out four. (2B Ryan Taylor made a good dive in the attempt to prevent that hit.) CF Blake Carruthers went 4-for-5 with three RBI. The Birds had 18 hits.
